Grana Valley, surrounded by the Maritime Alps and the Cottian Alps, has always been a synonym of uncontaminated territory which is able to conserve a small and unique treasure of nature. This happened thanks to distinguished naturalists that studied the environment with the passage of time.
The valley is situated in the western area of the province of Cuneo and groups nine municipalities:
Vignolo, Cervasca, Caraglio, Valgrana, Montemale, Monterosso, Pradleves and Castelmagno.
It presents to its guests an aspect jealously guarded among its forests and ledges, where a population of peasants and shepherds worked actively during the years and leaved an important heritage of architecture and landscape.
Old mountain paths, mule paths, hidden tracks: these are the roads that were travelled by men and animals for centuries which now in some way came back to life. Cycling holiday, trekking, mountain bike, horse riding, alpine skiing…these are the new ways to live the mountain, and Grana valley offers one of its best facet for the lovers of these activities.
